We are doing third of ESO in Pau Vila.

Our favourite actor is...
John Christopher Depp , was born on 9th of June in 1963 , in Owensboro, Kentucky, USA.
He has got one son and one daughter:
Lily-Rose Melody Depp and Jack John Christopher Depp III.
He appeared in some films:
-Chocolat
-Charlie and the chocolate factory
-Pirates of the Caribbean
-Sleepy Hollow
-Edward Scissorhands
He has one brother, Danny, and two sisters, Christie and Debbie.
Christie is, now, his personal manager.
The family moved frequently during Depp's childhood, and he, his sisters and the brother lived in more than 20 different locations.
Depp has German, Cherokee, and Irish ancestry.
He is handsome, attractive...
Also, many films that he does are difficult and he knows very well how to do them.
For example: The pirates of the Caribbean. That film is very complicated, because "Jack Esparrow" (Johnny Deep) knowns how to move his body, how to talk, etc...

The Depp's first interest was the music. In fact, in 1979 it leaves the studies to devote itself to the rock. It touched with a band called "The Kids", which had a modest local success and decided to go to The Angels, California to manage to sign a contract to extract a disc.
Johnny married Lori Anne Allison, in a marriage that lasted two years, but that turned out to be fundamental for his career. His wife presented Nicolas Cage who was the one who started insisting in order that it should enter the world of the cinema.
After a small paper in Platoon, of Oliver Stone, Depp began to be employed at the television. The series New Policemen did of him an icon in his country, acquiring an enormous popularity. And everything in spite of the fact that it was not at all to taste being employed at her.
And, finally, it comes to him his great opportunity of hands of the director who has been very important is his career: Tim Burton. In 1990 it interprets the protagonist of Eduardo Manostijeras, who obtains the recognition of the public and of the critique.

POP MUSIC
The pop is a kind of music that uses a formal structure " verse - refrain - verse ".
The big difference between different types of music and pop are the melody and the voices. It began in the 20th century in England, in the decade of the 60.
A few groups are: No way out, La Oreja de Van Gogh, The Jonas Brothers, El Canto del Loco,…
The recent hits of no way out are: Lo mismo, Insomnio, A lo perdido, Rena…
The recent hits of The Jonas Brothers are: S.O.S, burning up, I am what I am…
Second part:
EL CANTO DEL LOCO
El canto del loco (ECDL) was born in Madrid when the group’s founders, who are Ivan and Dani, knew themselves in a school of theatre in 1994. Both shared musical interests. From the song “El canto del gallo” (The roster’s singing) they extracted the name of the group, doing a play on words.
Later, David got into the group, Dani’s cousin. One day, David met Jandro and they decided Jandro would be the battery and fourth component of the group. Time later, Chema, Dani's friend in the university added himself in the band.
Then, El canto del loco were five, and they already formed a group.
ECDL have a lot of famous songs, for example: Peter Pan, Eres tonto, Besos, Fotos en blanco y negro, Zapatillas…

LA OREJA DE VAN GOGH
La Oreja de Van Gogh was formed in January, 1996 in San Sebastian. It was composed by Amaia, Paul, Álvaro, Xavi and Haritz. When they were teenagers, they enjoyed at the University talking about their favorite musical groups, but when they started to compose topics, they realized that none of them has a special voice to sing. One day, Paul met Amaia and proposed her to form part of the group. Amaia agreed, and when the others heard her voice, she became the band’s singer.
At the beginning they sang in bars. One day, they participated in a competition. They didn’t win any prize, but they appeared in the local radios, and its name began to be known.
Years later, Amaia left the group in order to sing alone. Leire, got into the group in 2008, when the others searched another singer to sing in the band to substitute Amaia.
La Oreja de Van Gogh have a lot of famous songs: Dulce locura, Puede ser, Muñeca de trapo, El último vals…

Some musicologists trace the origins of pop music to 1679, when Alessandro Scarlatti composed his first opera, or even earlier, when Francesco Provenzale coined the musical language that Scarlatti popularized: light, lively and catchy.They placed the emphasis on arias, clearly separated from the "recitativo", and grounded the arias on a strong sense of rhythm and melody. The song "Slide, Kelly, Slide", released by Edison Studios in 1894, is sometimes credited as the first "pop hit" record.
The standard format of pop music is the song, customarily less than five minutes in duration, with instrumentation that can range from an orchestra to a lone singer. Despite this wide scope, a typical lineup in a pop band includes one or two guitarists, a bassist, a drummer (or an electronic drum machine), a keyboardist and one or more vocalists.
Pop songs are generally marked by a consistent and noticeable rhythmic element, a mainstream style and traditional structure.
The term "pop music" was first used in 1926 in the sense of "having popular appeal" (see Popular music), but since the 1950s it has been used in the sense of a musical genre, originally characterized as a lighter alternative to rock and roll.
